All winterrain products are handmade in a slow, non-industrial and environment-friendly process.

Every single skein is slightly different in its flows and shapes. The yardage is usually between 70 and 80 yards (3.5 oz)/ 65 and 75 meters (100g). The softest merino wool (20 - 21 micron) is the one I use most.

The wool is coming from a german supplier and is treated and dyed according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

All winterrain yarns are suitable for knitting, crocheting and weaving.

There are 4 different weight options available for each colour combination:

100 g / 3.5 oz

150 g / 5.3 oz - please contact me for this option.

75 g / 2.64 oz - please contact me for this option.

50 g / 1.76 oz - please contact me for this option.
